NOTES:
This represents the 'heavy' components of the British Army post-Options For Change.
In total there were six armoured regiments in Germany and one armoured recce regiment (down from 12 and 2 in 1991). There were two more armoured regiments in the UK and one armoured recce regiment.
The Challenger 2 was introduced from 1997. The AS90 was introduced from 1993 on. The Abbot was withdrawn in 1993. The last M109A2 was retired in about 1995. MLRS was delivered to Heavy Regiments from 1990-1993. After 1995 the Heavy Regiment was withdrawn from Germany.
Scorpion and Fox were withdrawn from service.
Because Milan have been listed separately, adjust the British datacard by reducing the ATGW factor of Infantry Combat Teams and Infantry stands to 3-6".
In theory, if it had ever deployed as part of NATO's ARRC, 3 (UK) division would have received the Italian Ariete armoured brigade.
